Seventh Grade
Last week, you started your 7th grade school year, and you are now on your way to finishing your first full week. Take a minute to reflect on the highs and lows surrounding the start of the year, and consider what some of your goals will be. What are you most looking forward to this year? What are your magical wishes?

The highs of the first week of school was that it was very short. The lows were all the tests I took.I mean, 4 pre-tests!!! My three wishes for this school is to make sure this school had recess, to make school shorter, and to make summer vacation longer than the school year.

ReplyDelete7th grade is a little more challenging than 6th grade, but it is pretty fun, so far!!!
ReplyDeleteThis year I am looking fowrad to having lots of field trips! This year we have many more field trips than we did last year! I hope that this year will be as fun and exciting as I thought it will be! I don't like having to go UPSTAIRS because it takes alot more energy than going DOWNSTAIRS! But I only have to go upstairs only a couple times the whole day!

This year in 7th grade, I'm looking foward to may things. First of all, I want to meet new people.There are many new people in team 21 and i would like to get to know them better. I am also looking foward to seeing and doing all the projects we will do this year. I heard they are awesome and a lot of fun. Finally, I would like to see what class or classes will end up being my favorite considering what we will do in each.

7th grade is kind of like how i thought it would be. .It's just like 6th grade but with more learning experiences and more friends. It's great because you get to be on the top floor and teachers think highly of you. It's not so great because of the lockers. You can't put away your last period things. You have to lug eveerything home and bring it all back without even using it. My 3 wishes would be locker break anytime, lunch anytime, and a much lighter backpack! That's 7th grade for you!

ReplyDeleteI have a lot of peaks and valleys in my first week. The first day for me was very stressful, waking up really early( before I'd wake up at 10:00), packing a longlist of items for the year. I had things at school like having to thing which way to go the stairs. But I have some goals for the year, One never dipping below 89, and another is finishing my homework in under 2 hours. Some things I do look forward to, like being in my classes, helping my friends, along with getting more friends. But if I got 3 wishes from the fairy, it would be that the lockers open use a locker card, having a more flexible schuedule, and having more activities.

At the beggining of 7th grade the first day was a little hectic. so far the highs for this week so far are knowing that some of my friends are in my class. There have been no lows points of this week... yet! Some of my goals for this year is to make new friends and pass all of my classes. I am really looking forward to the field trips that we are going to be taking. But I am not looking forward to the test, finals, and the CRCT for this school year.
ReplyDeleteIf i were to have three wishes for this school year they would be: NO HOMEWORK, better lunch, and no test.
So looks like im off to finishing my first week of 7th grade. It seems to be fine for now but, there has been some up's and down's. Good news is im still alive in such a harsh place. Which leads me to how harsh the work is. A goal of mine is to just try my best on everything and don't give up. But, if I really had a wish it would be no homework and possibly more lunch time.

ReplyDeleteSeventh grade started out really well.But, the only bad thing is that the homework is starting to pile on.That is what I am not looking foward to.But one of the highl;ights to this year is that I have a lot of friends in my classes.If a genie could grant me any wish it would be... that we would have no homework, wh would have recess, 2 hours of school, and one hour each day of free time. Chase Fiveash: I am excited to go on field trips. I hope that there aren't any tornados! In addition to that I wish that we do lots of fun projects. So far this has been a great first week and I hope that the entire school year is this fun. I'm also excited to use lots of new types of technology this year. This is going to be an awesome 7th grade.

Thoughts when rampaging through my head such as how whould seventh grade be simulsr to sixth, or would it be a whole different ballgame? after my first week I picked up on how things roll in seventh grade team 21! Im pleased, great teachers and exiting new projects to look forward to. I also look forward to the many field trips during this upcomming year. On the other hand there is a policy of no late homework, though this may be a setback to some I plan to overcome procrastination and make my seventh grade a marvalous and spectacular school year.

I belive I can get straight a's and have tons of fun.If I had any 3 wishes from a genie, I would wish for less school, a million dollars, and a horse. ReplyDeleteThis year so far has been pretty fun. I have the best teachers! But the homework is gradually piling up. So, one of my goals is to complete my home work quickly and efficiently. Another wish i have is to get really good grades. And the locker breaks are are confusing me a little, but thats fine. :) My one magical wish is to have the best year of school yet. Also, just like AC^ said the circling thing in the halls is not my favorite either.

ReplyDeleteStarting a new grade always seems like a big challenge and new stress to put on your shoulders. However, new friends, responsibilities, and goals come along with it as well.To begin, I believe new goals is a big focus in 7th grade and I think has been a big role within the last weeek. These goals could include starting fresh, and my personal favorites responsibility, organization, and respect. However, goals is not just what 7th grade consists of. This week I have learned so many things already such as a new way of thinking and creativity! In my opinion, 7th grade is going to be a great year unlike the rest. AS

i think the best part of 7th grade so far was french and art. the worst part was the math pre test it was extreamly boring. my three wishes are to get an a in math, get a job as a babby sitter, at a vet, or kennel, and to be all around state champion. that would be totaly awesome. i realy hope that this year is amazing.i cant wait to see what this year brings!i have a family freind that is in 6th grade this year.His name is carter, our moms are bffs. i call him kitty kat he needes a hair cut he also has a broken arm, and i treat him like a littel brother.my nextoor sis sites next to me obn the bus. this is going to be an awesome year!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteTo be honest I think that seventh grade will be the best out Middle School. The best things so far are the teachers. They are so sweet and nice.Also I have many friends with me this year. The bad things so far are that some people that were in Team21 last year aren't in Team21 this year which I truly dislike. At least I have my friends from last year still.Some of my goals this year are to pass with A's and B's.I hope for many things this year like getting good grades, meeting more people, and just fit in. This year is gonna be great!

In 7th grade there are many differences from last year. A good difference is that we can goto our locker between any two classes. the bad difference is that we have to walk the hallways according two a specific flow chart so i have to do a full circle to get to my third academic. i think other than the flow chart, this year will be good. T.M.

ReplyDeleteI think 7th grade is a chance for many opportunities and is a lot more fun than 6th grade. The lows of 7th grade are we are in school and still learning and we are all used to sleeping later. The worst low is getting bad teachers that give loads of homework. The highs are we get to see all of our friends again.

This year, I'm so excited to start doing projects. I've seen glimpses of whta is coming and I'm beyond excited! I want to make this year great! If I had magical wishes for this year they would be to get all A's, great friends, and also to have lots of fun! I eearned all A's last year and i want to do it again! 6th grade was a blast, and I hope 7th grade will too! Seventh grade has been a blast so far! I love latin and orchestra is preety fun, too. playing the cello is way better than the bass. Ms.Books call is my fav. class, so far.Somethings I am not liking so far is the Homework in math. Otherwise, School is fun.This year if it doesn't conflict with my select soccer team, I would like to try out for the seventh grade basketball team. my goal this year is to excel at all of my sports that i play. Here are my three wishes:

ReplyDeleteso far this school year has been good. i like most of my teachers and this year i would really like t0 make new friends and get al A`s. if i had 3 magical wishes they would be 1. have 2 hour pe 2. have CHAR-CHAR-LEE be a teacher. (lanierworld water park.) p.s. ciara is amazing. i really hope for the rest of the year we wont be takeing not mush more notes and only group projects and activities. i wish the lockers were bigger so i could fit my lunch box in it. ReplyDeleteSeventh grade so far has been pretty good.Besides the endless pre-test the first 3 days of school.Although besides all of that seventh grade has been pretty nice to me.All the teachers are really fun,funny,and nice.So far i am REALLY enjoying the homework,because there is barley ANY OFF IT.I am pretty sure that it will increse as we get deeper into the school year.
ReplyDeleteAlthough just imagine if there was a 7th grade fairy that granted you 3 wishes for the entire school year.I wouldnt know where to begin.There are so many things that i would need to wish for(caroline is amazing).Like shorter classes,little to NO homework,AND ETC.The first wish that i would wish for is pretty much a no brainer.Almost everyone would wish for this.My first wish would be to have Unlimated Wishes.So i would be good for the rest of the year!My next wish would be for Charlie Brown(or Char-Char Lee)to be one of my teachers.He was the best lifegaurd at the Lake Lanier water park.Anyways my next wish would be for 2 hour long P.E. classes.I know that it sounds a little weird but i really love P.E.NoW I am afraid that i will have to come to a conclusion know because we all know that i wished for unlimated wishes so it could go on forever!

hello fellow bloggers im a little mad right now because my older blog got deleted but i mean no big deal right ok so in sevemth grade ithink its going to be an good year for the most part because oh wait first the highs ok so the highs of seventh are basicly the same as sixth grade so there are a lot of highs...one of the highs is responsibility. you have a lot more responsibility .... i think thats a good thing because you are more on your own and when your on your own you are independent. okay that sounded like a speech and i tried sooo hard not to make this sound like a speech. okay again im off topic. so the other high is well so far there is less homewok.... well that doesnt say alot scince we are only a few days into school and i had math homework last night. okay so the other high is independence the teachers dont kweep reminding you that you have assighnments due and i really like that about seventh grade. because you are incharge of getting your work in on time and you have to keep up with tje due dates and projects like that

7th grade is the middle of middle school.It's bigger than 6th grade but not as big as 7th grade. If i had 3 wishes it would be. 1st always get A's on test. quiz, homework, and classwork. 2nd never have homework so I can always keep my schedule open all the time. 3rd whish is to always have fun, so it wouldn't be like a school it would be like a fun place to learn. In the real world , my goals are to get good grades, not to get in trouble, and be a good student. things I have to work on is to not procrastinate and use time wisely. so 7th grade is a step up to the big legues.

ReplyDeleteI guess the way I started the new school year was that I found much more people to make friends with and keep the friends I already had from last year. I don't really have any "bad things" that happened so, I guess it was a good beginning to the school year.

ReplyDeleteIf I could have 3 wishes about 7th grade I would be rich so i could buy stuff with all my money. Iwould have all my friends in the same class and a teacher who didn't really care what we did. She would also only give A's. My teacher would also not care if we pulled pranks on each other or anything. We would all have P.E. and go outside to learn stuff. And fior my last wish i would have a golf cart to ride around in so i wouldn't have to walk places. the main things I am looking forward to this year is P.E. and intermuals. I also want to get straight so I am looking forwad to that challenge.
ReplyDeleteIT IS HUMP DAY!!! but not just an ordinary hump day today is the first hump day of the first full week of 7th grade.so far 7th grade is pretty fun, and i have already started a few projects. Some good things about 7th grade are that 7th grade has an earlier than last year and a bad thing is that we have a little bit more homework.If I had thre wishes i agree with Nicole get all a's on quiz and tests, have no homework and school to always be fun. My 7th grade goals are to get all a's on my report card and not to wait until the last minute to do homework, projects, study etc.

Every year a week berfore school starts i get excited and then when it starts i wish it was over but this year i dont feel like that.im guessing i feel this way is because my teachers dont give out a lot of homework that is hard.the number one thing that i like is that i only have to wait 15 minutes when i go to third academic. ~SC

This is my first year at NGMS and I really like it here. The highs are that the school has better education and that the teachers and students are nice. If I had 3 wishes for seventh grade I would wish for all A pluses on test, I also wish school ended at 3, and my final wish will be looking up at a star and wishing for a million more wishes!!!

DeleteIn my 1st week of 7th grade,i found that all my taechers' classrooms were fairly close. so i get to go to my locker after every period. i have classes with friends from last year and new friends, too. My math and social studies teacher are super fun!!!I am also staring French!!we already have products thus i am on Team 21. For lunch we can sit wherever we want within the 4 team tables. What I do not like is that lunch is too short. we only have like 20 min to eat. Also, i have gym. And I do NOT like to dress out everyday. But other than that i am liking 7th Grade and hopeing it will be like this for the rest of the year!

7th grade is Awesome. It is a "BLAST""!!!!!!". My three magical wishes are to have recess, no assignments(tests,quizzez,etc...), and to have a shorter school day. Some highs are that i am a year and a grade older, and some lows are that we still have to climb three flights of stairs up.

When I got to school I saw all of my old friends and it was really fun.I am really excited about the 8th grade basketball team, because I want to be the 7th grade manager. I am not so excited about homework and everything, but its not that bad.I think this is going to be a good year and i am going to try my hardest.- KF
ReplyDeleteThis new grade has been full of new and fun experences, some of my experinces were not so fun. for example on the bus pesky sixth graders keep invadeing my seat. GRRRRRR. If I could have one wish i would wish i could have a limo for me and my friends to go to and from school.

i loved alll my teachers they were all so nice. my goal is to do really good in math and maybe even get an a in math. i really want to learn cool music in orchestra.i hope this years fun and not boring or too hard!if i could have a wish it would be to breath under water because lets be honest, that would be cool.seventh grades been good so far so lets keep it that way!

ReplyDeletethe highs and lows of this year was the labs and the lunches. the lows are the homework and classwork.some of my goals will be to no to get a detention don`t make a fool of myself, and to make it in to kindle. i am also looking foward to kindle. my wishes are theat to have great lunches and to have only a bit of homework. the last, is to have three more wishes! I would then wish for a babolat pure drive raquet and straight as. then i would wish for haveing three more wishes to have swordfighting classes in school, have a black belt in tae kwon do, and to have a great year.
ReplyDeleteSeventh grade is so far super fun. The teachers are really nice and I love all my classes. Quiz bowl has started up and I play my trumpet every day. I can't wait untill things settle down, and before I know it, it will be summer.
ReplyDeleteThe first week or so has been very fun so far. I've already learned new things in math and Social Studies. First off, Mrs.Smith, Mrs. Pierce, Mrs.Book, and Mrs. Beckwith are AWESOME! I'm already excited for the school year. This week has been busy, but at the same time, it's been really fun. My wishes of 7th grade is to get all A's, make new friends, and to learn new things. I'm looking forward to the next several weeks of 7th grade!

ReplyDeletespanish is hard, we have a sci quiz tomorrow, and i still have to try out a new honey sesame cupcake recipe for lily's bday!! despite all the stress, im reaaly excited for the year that's to come. i reaaly want to get closer to the friends that i have, and make some new ones, too. another goal of mine is to prepare a 5 - course dinner for my family from scratch!
but i wish that we'd have and sir - conditioned bus with comfy seats that reclined, and more time for more fun things in life. i know that now im in 7th grade, im naturally going to be busier, i wish i could add more hours to the day.....
I would like to get all As because I want to get into 8th grade. I would also like to learn to speak latin fluently. I dont want to get into trouble last year I was successful. I would REALLY like to complete the CRCT with all exceeds.
ReplyDeleteI`m looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends, but last year I made a ton of friends I have this year though. I`m also looking forward to some fun projects this year.
I wish I knew all the secrets to the world, because then I could find more and more wishes and I could have more and more expeditions. I would also like to have more exitment in the world, so everything we do is FUN!!!!
in seventh grade, people say its the most boring year in middle school. i thimk thats a lie. Each year i think that people should be excited about thwe new year. There's no reason to be bummed about any grade it will be great

So far this year, it's been fairly good. My classes are all really close to each other except for math. My teachers are all really nice, and we've had fun experiences so far, including labs and writing pieces. This year, though, I also have to get used to some new things. I have to get used to my new locker combination, new address (I moved in the summer), and new teachers and people. My math class has been pretty challenging so far, but I know I'll make it through. Some of my goals this year are to keep my math grade above a 90 the entire year, learn Spanish, and to get better in my other subjects. I'm also looking forward to improving in Chinese, Tennis, and Dance. I would wish for an easy year, great academic sucess, and enjoyable time with friends. I am definitely ready for this year.

Once apon a time, seventh grade had a magical genie. She granted three wishes per student per year. A student would walk through her door every three days. they would make a wish for all sorts of things. for example, if a girl didn,t like her outfit, she would wish for a new outfit. One day a student came in. She was a clever student. she had learned that there was no rules for wishes, so she had a plan. she said to the genie "I want to spend all my wishes today, " she continued "I wish for a new outfit, popularity, and I wish for three more wishes." "Ok " said the genie, " a new outfit, popularity, and three wishes... wait what?!" "Three wishes " said the girl. So, from then on the clever girl got three more wishes each day, the whole year.

DeleteAfter the first full week of 7th grade, I think I really enjoy all my classes so far & like the people who are in it. My connections, Latin and Chorus are good too. Right now the lows are infrequent besides homeework. I am looking forward to A's, fun, and extreme learning! If I had magical wishes, It'd be good grades and more relationships with people.
ReplyDeletein seventh grade my goals are to only get some silent lunches/detentions and have fun all day.also study,and etc.I heard that the most boring part of 7th grade was the homework,and i think it is. if i had three wishes my wish would be no more homework,unlimited wallet with money,and more wishes.

ReplyDeleteSome goals for 7th grade are to get A's in all of my classes. I also want to make at least 2 new friends in at least all of my classes. I am looking forward most to do fun projcts. Some magical wishes of mine are to make my principle allow no tests, to automaticly make my grades all 100's, and to have the FUNNIEST, MOST AWSOME, AND GREATEST FRIENDS IN THE UNIVERSE. I already have 5 friends like that. They are Marcus, Justin D., Daniel, Austin, and Jaisey!
