If you could transcend time and space to be able to meet and have lunch with any of the characters from the Macbeth play, who would you most like to meet? What question(s) would you ask this character? Where would you want to have lunch? Why would you choose this character?
Jacob Cianci
ReplyDeleteIf I could have lunch with any Macbeth character, it would have to be Macduff. I would ask him how brave he was when he killed Macbeth. I would also ask him how sad he was when his family died.I would like to have lunch at Stevi B's pizza, and we could eat pizza together. I would choose this character because i think he is very brave.
If I could eat lunch with any Macbeth character, I would choose Macbeth himself. After all, he is the main character of the play and did many things, so there would be so much to talk to him about. I could ask him about his wife, and killing King Duncan, and many other things. I would pick SteaknShake as a restaurant....I love that restaurant.

ReplyDeleteIf I was going to have lunch with a Macbeth character, I'd definitely choose the Porter because he is just such a fabulous character in the story, and is the only reason I enjoyed this theatrical piece of Shakespeare's work. I think we'd go to Taco Mac because I could enjoy a healthy veggie quesdilla while the Porter has a drunken time drinking barrels and barrels of liquor. Soon enough, I know he'd be hammered, so I would have to walk home because he is a drunken idiot.
If i could have lunch with a Macbeth character, I would choose Macduff. I would like to talk with him about how he stood up to the king and won. I would also ask him if having his family killed made him stronger. I would like to go to Mellow Mushroom, because i like the pizza there.
ReplyDelete----Madison Watts
if i could have lunch with any macbeth character it would be with malcolm. i would eat at a nice restaurant or something and i would ask him things like how was duncan as a father, how did it feel knowing that he was killed, and how do you feel now that macbeth is dead and you get to be king like before and walk in the footsteps of your father. i chose this character because he seemed like he would be nice and loyal.

If I was able to have lunch with a Macbeth character, I would probably choose one of the witches, because they are the backbone of the story. They are basically the entire reason of all of the bad events that occurred in Macbeth. I would ask her why she loves to mess up life for the other characters in Macbeth, and exactly how she does it. I would probably persuade her to have lunch with me at the Mellow Mushroom to kind of advertise peace and love to her dark, evil mind. I also enjoy their food, and I believe she would too.
ReplyDeleteLOL. Okay, I would invite crazy Lady Macbeth to the Cheesecake Factory. We would have so much fun~ But I don't think she would answer questions much. She would probably go, "Look! Another cheesecake. They're everywhere, so be careful." Actually, I don't think bringing her to the Cheescake Factory is a good idea... Instead I will bring her to Popeyes. She would probably freak out and rant about how this is not a biscuit because in UK, or whatever they're from, biscuits are cookies. Which makes no sense whatsoever. -_-" The we would go see the Justin Bieber movie in 3D with Jada and Ansley. :D She would get kicked out becase she would be spazzing out over how this movie got good critiques, why he sounds like an akward eight year old girl, and why her hand has that blasted stain. We would get kicked out. :D Then we would go to Antigua's and sing "Never Gonna Let You Go" by Rick Ross and "Roll To Me" by whoever sang that. :D Then she would probably get drunk and run around the place, screaming. :D
ReplyDeletei would like to have a lunch with MacDuff, because now he is crowned the new King after he kills Macbeth. I would want to ask what motives got him to kill his own friend and how he plans to rule in his future.

ReplyDeleteI would have lunch with Macduff because he a strong, but nice, person. He is a good good guy in the book. We would eat at a nice restaurant. I would ask him questions like, What was it like knowing you were causing your family trouble by leaving but also would endanger them if you stayed? or I would ask How were you able to stand up against Macbeth and take him down?
ReplyDelete~Mandy Cimino~~
I would have lunch with the Porter at Outback Steakhouse. The questions that I would ask him is, "What did you mean when people come to hell, you would sweat a lot?". The reason why I chose this character is because he explains that hell is is worst place to be. He's giving an example that not only being drunk can make you experience that, but also commiting bad actions.

I would have lunch with Macbeth at McDonalds because one-i want to see him get humiliated by the little kids who orders the kid's meal because of his old English accent. Two-i want to go there because both his name and McDonalds start with mc (or mac). And third-to make him start spazzing out. I hope he doesn't kill anybody at McDonalds. A question i would like to ask him is how he got convinced to kill Duncan and not talk himself out of it. If he really loved Lady Macbeth and how they met. I would choose this character because he is very creepy and weird. If i take him to McDonalds i wonder what would happen to the cashier or what will happen if we go through the drive-thru. If this came true it would be awesome!!

I would have lunch with Macduff at On The Border. Some of the questions that I would ask Macduff are that if he was super proud that he killed Macbeth, or even how sad he felt when he heard that his family had been slaughtered. I would also ask him if he was proud from not being born out of a woman because the fact of that frightened Macbeth. Also, I would ask Macduff if he was ever scared at some point while fighting against Malcolm and Siwrad. I would choose Macduff to come eat lunch with me because he is very brave and loyal.

I would have lunch with Lady Macbeth at Cracker Barrel. I picked Cracker Barrel because I love their food and I would want to see how Lady Macbeth reacts to all of the crazy stuff on the walls. During lunch, I would ask her why she pushed Macbeth to become King so far that they turned to murder. Also, I would ask her if she felt any guilt at all from what she'd done to Macbeth and all the people he had murdered. Lastly, I would ask Lady Macbeth if she is going to try to fix anything about her husband's evil rule. I would choose to have lunch with Lady Macbeth because I could learn about how a lot of the main events/murders happened in the book.

I would totally have lunch with Porter at Mcdonald's so we could get happy meals and get the toys inside.I would ask him what it is like to be drunk. I would also ask him what it is like to be the coolest charecter and the star of the book. He is my favorite charecter in the book so I would tell him that. Then he would probably get drunk. This is why I would choose Porter to go to lunch with.

One thing I know for sure is I do NOT want to eat lunch with Macbeth. He might not like the lunch and kill me. He's known for killing people. Pretending he's still alive, I'd have lunch with Banquo. We'd go to a pizza place because he didn't have pizza in his time and I think he'd like it. I'd ask what he thought of Macbeth. Do you think Macbeth might possibly kill you driving him insane so he kills more people? What was going through your head when you saw three witches with beards? If Macbeth killed you and you somehow survived, would you get revenge on him or do something else? I would choose Banquo because of these questions that I am very curious about. Also, he is brave, loyal, and is one of the people in the story who doesn't kill anyone.

I would have to choose to have lunch with the Doctor. I would ask him what it was like seeing the crazy Lady Macbeth sleepwalking. I would also ask him what she was thinking. I would probably take him/her out to Monterrey... mexican food is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteMary Grace Roark
I think that I would want to have lunch with Malcom. It would be cool to talk to a king (and not a tyrant like macbeth) I would ask him if it was hard to rule a kingdom with all of that power. It obviously was hard to be a good king and have power for macbeth. I think that malcom would be a good king because it is in his heritage to be royalty, since his dad was a king. I think that i would take malcom to mellow mushroom. i think that monica was right bout the whole pizza thing. plus, i loooovde pizza!

If I had time to eat lunch with a Macbeth character I would choose Lady Macbeth because she is one of the most distinct and interesting characters. I would probably want to meet her at my favorite resturant,Bonefish Grill, and ask her many questions such as: How/why she married Macbeth; why she wanted to be queen; if she could possibly change anything that she had done in your life what would it be.

ReplyDeleteI would invite Macbeth to lunch. I would invite him because he is probably the coolest character and he is the best fighter too. The only reason he is dead is because the witches made him overconfident. We would go to cicis pizza because their pizza is pretty good and I am pretty sure that i am addicted to their brownies.
ReplyDeleteIf i had the chance to have lunch with a character from Macbeth, i would choose Lady Macbeth. I would choose Lady Macbeth because she seemed so sure of herself that she would like being queen, but then she started to feel guilty. I would start out by asking her why she wanted to be queen so bad and why she didn't just kill Duncan herself instead of leaving it to Macbeth. Also, i would want to know how it felt to have so much guilt weighing down on your shoulder. I think it would be interesting to know how she delt with all the drama and mess of being with Macbeth. I think that i would have lunch at Olive Garden because it is a nice, formal place where i believe that we can have a nice conversation.
ReplyDeleteI would go out to an Italian restaraunt with the character Macduff. I would ask him how he killed Macbeth, how he knew to take the braches off the trees and walk to the hills to hide his armys numbers, and why he fled to Scotland. Once we finished our Mellow Mushroom pizza, I would say goodbye.
ReplyDelete-Harrison Olvey
I would like to talk with Malcom at Subway. I would ask him what his suspicions were about his father's murderer. I would also ask him if he likes being heir to the throne. How would he rule his kingdom? if it were up to him, would he change Scotland? Personally I choose Malcom because i want to know how his goals differ from his father's and Macbeths too.
ReplyDelete-Ashley Birdsall
I would go to lunch with lady macbeth and ask her why she is so evil. we would eat at kani house so i could throw her in the fire if she got too angry. also i would ask why she wanted to kill king duncan so bad and how she convinced macbeth to kill duncan. why is she an evil woman?
ReplyDeleteRichie Adams
I would go to lunch with Malcom because he is honest and fair. IT'S NOT BECAUSE HE'S KING! Its because I think I`m like him in some ways. We both just kids. Thats all i can think of right now. I would go to P.F. Chang's for 2 reasons. 1. It would freak Malcom out. 2. It has really good food. After we finished, Id say' "We should do this again somethime." and then he'd leave.
ReplyDelete~Justin Braverman
If I could eat lunch with any Macbeth character, then I would eat lunch with Macduff.I would wany to meet Macduff because he is a brave and loyal character. We would go eat at an Italian restaurant like Olive Garden because i think it would be a good place where we could have a good conversation. I would ask him if he was scared when he was battling Macbeth and how he felt when he had found out about his family's death.

If I could invite anyone to lunch, I would invite Malcom because e defeated Macbeth and most of his family died so I could comfort him. I would take him to McDonald's because i would let him eat french fries and drink some sweet tea from the dollar menu and let im enjoy himself while he gets in love with America's fast food.

I would have lunch with malcom. I'd have lunch with him becaus it would awsome to meet a king. We'd have lunch a McDonolds so he could experiance a 21st centery hamberger. I would ask him how fun it i to be king.
ReplyDeleteJared Rosenberg
If I were to have to lunch with one of Macbeth's characters I would probably pick Macduff. I would pick Macduff because he doesn't seem as rude as Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. He always seems pretty neutral and relaxed..even when he heard about his family being killed, Malcom had to explain that the needed to take revenge out on Macbeth. I would ask Macduff why he wasn't crowned king and why Malcom was. I would also ask why his mother had to have a sea section with him, since that was very unusual back then. I would take Macduff out to eat at...an Italian restaurant because that is my favorite food. I would take him to a restautant called Boca Di Peppo.

If I was to have lunch with a character from Macbeth it'd have to be Macbeth. I'd take him to the Golden Corral because a mighty tyrant has a big appetitie. When there I'd ask him a couple of questions. First off, I'd ask him why he said, "She was going to die anyways." about Lady Macbeth. I'd ask him this because I was playing the roll when Nick was playing Macbeth and said those horrible things about his amazing wife. Next, I'd ask how it feels to get your butt kicked by Macduff? I bet he'd get angry. Hahaha. Then my final question would be the most important. Why did you believe the witches? Everyone knows that ugly women playing around a big pot aren't trust worthy. These are the questions I would ask Macbeth if I took him to Golden Corral. Oh, I'd also make him pay the bill.

If I could take one Macbeth character to have lunch with, it would be Macduff. I would choose him because he is brave and thinks Macbeth is crazy. Just like me. We would eat at Tanners in Suwanee because I would want to introduce him to southern food. I would ask him questions like, were you and Macbeth good friends, or what his family was like. That Is who I would take to lunch with me.
ReplyDelete~Loren Carella~
I think I would invite Macduff to lunch because he was able to take Macbeth down after Macbeth was told he should not be scared of anyone born of a woman. I would ask him what made him want to see the end of Macbeth. I think I would take Macduff to the Cheesecake Factory.
ReplyDelete~Kayla Rowland~
If i could eat lunch with any of the charaters, it would be macduff. i choose him because he seems nice. He takes everything and turns it around. when his family died, he took the sad-ness and turned it into anger and defeated macbeth. McDuff can helkp me change my feelings around also. so thats why I would eat with mcduff.
ReplyDeleteIf i could go back ibn time and eat lunch with someone form the Macbeth play, I would eat lunch with Malcolm, beacuase he is my character and I would want to know how he talks and what he struggled with during his role. To be polite i would eat whatever he wanted to eat. If he came to my town I would eat McDonald's to show him some modern food!

If i were to travel back in time and eat lunch with one of the characters, it would be Lady Macbeth. We would go and eat at Ted's Montana Grill because I love their hamburgers. I would like to sit down with her and ask her why she manipulated Macbeth to do all those awful things. I would also ask her why it was so important for her to be queen. I would give her a talk about her bad actions. After we would say our goodbyes and I would hope that she would change.
ReplyDeleteIf I could go to lunch with a Macbeth character, I would go with King duncan. We would go to Olive Garden because they have good food. I would ask him if he fully trusted Macbeth. I would also ask if he thought that Macbeth and Lady Macbeth were acting strange. Then when we were done he would go back to Shakespeare time.

If I could go to lunch with a character from Macbeth, I would eat with lady Macebeth. This is because her violentness inspires me.
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't give up for anything. In otherwords, she is very straghtforward. I would asked her why she would say yes to marry Macbeth when she calls him a wimp anyways.
We could eat at Olive Garden because I like to eat spagghetti.
-Lesley Chang
If we could travel in time and meet for lunch with one of the characters it would be macbeth because he is really rich and we would get really good food. Also I would be able to see and eat in his huge castle. He would be a little crazy but I would kind of use hi to get the supplies I need to survive and have fun.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to sit down with a Macbeth character, I would pick Malcolm. I would like to know how it feels to rule a country after the tyrant Macbeth left his mark on it. How is he going to rebuild it. Also, what he is to do in the future. We would eat at Ipilitos because that is food near where he was born.

IDK they're all pretty ugly and weird and creepy. So i wouldn't go to lunch with any of them because i wouldn't even know what to ask them! I only know about Justin Bieber! he's super cute unlike ugly macbeth.

I would have lunch with Macbeth because he's the main character and most people have heard of Macbeth but not the other characters so if I said I had lunch with Macbeth, they would actually have heard of it maybe. We would go to Macdonald's because he likes Macdonald's because his name is Macbeth, which is kind of like Macdonald's and I think they mentioned someone in the play called Macdonald, so he probably likes that restaurant.

i would take malcom to lunch with Malcom to lunch because he is going to be the new king and i would take him to I.H.O.P. i think that he deserves a lunch in celebration of him becoming the new king.

ReplyDeleteIf I was to meet a Macbeth character, it would be Macbeth because he is pure evil and just a messed up shell of a nut with no nut inside. In other words, he doesn't know how to think. But if I was supposed to take him to a resturant I would go to some mideval resturant that is in the middle of no where. I would make him eat a full serving of spit roast. I would ask him how he was able to become such a dumb person and not care about his dead wife. I would also ask him to teach me the magnificent battle plan that failed miserably. I would choose this person because he is one of the greatest fails in the history of books and that he is a very interesting person because he has very fast emotional changes.
ReplyDeleteIf i were to go out to dinner with a character from macbeth, it would probably be one of the murderers. I would to know who they were and who they kiled. I find it interesting that they actualy beleived macbeth when he said banquo was evil. I would probably take him out to okis, because its the best japanese restaurant ive ever eaten at.

* What is it like being Macbeth's wife?
* Would you really of killed your child or where you just caught in the moment?
*Would you kill any of YOUR family members if that meant Macbeth could be the noble King?
I would go to Longhorn, Yum!
