  1. The highlights about starting seventh grade were seeing that I already knew most of the people in my classes and alot of them were in my classes last year. This first day of school was very not-awkward because of that reason. The lowlights of this year was finding out that some of my friends were in none of my classes. That was a bit of a downer.

  2. My highlights of this week was meeting new people and new teachers. My lowlights was learning how much work we were going do this year and the pretesting on things we do not know. I think 7th grade will be different from 6th grade because of the amount of work and going to new more advanced classes. My biggest fear is how i'm going to fit all of the papers in my binders and the amount of work. I'm mostly looking forward to a good year and alot of fun.2A Sh

  3. The highlights of the first week was getting to see all my friends again, get my new teachers, and get back into a routine. Without school, nothing was on routine and I was left with nothing to do. Being away for month sucked up a lot of my time, so I didn't get to see my friends a lot, especially since I can't communicate with most of them during the time I'm in Michigan.

My biggest fear about seventh grade is probabaly failing a subject. I'm also somewhat worried some of my friends will forget me, since we're not in the same classes. Math is not my strong suit, and with it getting harder, I'm worried I won't pass, but not too worried. I think Algebra will be somewhat easy, but have some complicated concepts along the way.

In all honesty, I think my seventh grade year will be great, just as my sixth grade year was.

  4. Over the time period of my first week being a 7th grader at NGMS, there were alot of lowlights and alot of highlights. One of the highlights was when i found out i had my favorite subject (math) with my best friend. Another was today when I got my first quiz grade which was a 100%. For my second question I am going to state some lowlights. One of my lowlights was when I discovered I didn't have any classes with my other best friend. We didn't even have a connection together. Finally, I had another low light. I was in science, and I didn't remember to bring in my flash drive, so in result I couldn't save my project.

  6. A highlight of this week was getting to see some of my old friends, and meeting my new teachers. Though some of my old friends I wanted didn't exactly get into my classes, but i'm stil content.

I think, one way that this year will be diffrent from last year, is the classes and amount of work. Last year I wasn't on this team so all the places they went last year I wasn't broght along on...

But i'm really looking forward to this school year, and this weeks was AWEOSME.

  7. The highlights of this first week were finally getting 4 teaachers and getting to transition opposed to stay with the same teacher for two hrs. Second, i liked that I already knew who most people were. The lowlights for this week were One of my friends dropped out of the team on the 2nd day also I am always late to classes because my locker is on the other end of the hallway.

  16. I agree with you Scarlett! I was so glad to come back to school to see all my friends, and my summer also dragged on a little bit.

You don't need to worry about your friends in 7th grade... I know they have not forgotten about you and love hanging out with you.

7th grade will be a great year!

  17. The highlights of starting 7th grade was getting to see all my new friends from last year! I also was excited to see all my new teachers and vist the old ones!

I was a little dissapointed that we still had very tiny lockers like last year. I also was dissapointed that I didn't have PE the first semester because I really want to go outside.

Besides this I know 7th grade will be a great year :)

  18. My biggest fear about seventh grade was skipping one of my classes and going to the next one or getting all of my classes mixed up.

The aspect of seventh grade that I am looking forward to most is probably the field trips we are going to go on.

  24. This week, I was jubilant to see my friends and meet my teachers. But I was also saddened when i found out I didn't share any classes with my best friend. This year, I think it will be tougher and we'l have more homework. I also fear that I won't get good grades. I look forward to the field trips we will go to.

  26. My highlight about this week was going back to school, seeing all my friends, and meeting my new teachers. During this week I also got to see my schedule, my connections, and who all are in my classes this year. I am very excited to begin the school year and to put my best foot forward, and do my very best.

  27. The events that I am looking forward to in my 7th grade year is going to the Atlanta Zoo and all of the other exciting field trips we will take. But, most importantly I think that trying all A's and exceeding my limits, with the great teachers that I have will be the best event.

By doing my very best in school I hope to make my parents proud and to enjoy all of the opportunities/events that 7th grade has to offer.

  28. The highlights were seeing I had alot of wonderful teachers whom I could already tell wanted to help me reach my highest goals, and I have a lot of people from my 6th grade class in my 7th grade (Its so strange saying that now! 7th!)classes now. My biggest fear is that I won't be able to adjust to my schedule- I've already gotten lost... twice!

  35. 7th grade year is surely going to be way more different than 6th grade year, because we're going to be learning so many new things! A highlight to my 7th grade year so far would be that I have classes with most of my friends and a low light would be that i don't really have much background knowledge on what we are going to be learning this year. My greatest weak point would probably be math, it's not my best subject, but hey! It's all the more challenging! The thing that I'm looking forward to the most about 7th grade is meeting new people and going on super awesome field trips! :D

I totally agree with you! I must admit, i got kind of freaked out about if any of my 6th grade friends would be in any of my 7th grade classes! But in the end, it turned out totally great!! :D

  38. My highlights were that I have the BEST 7th grade teachers, I finally got Tech ED (I've wanted it since the beginning of 6th grade), and a lot of my friends are in my classes.

I think I'm looking forward to... Everything! I can't wait to see what else 7th grade will bring! I hope it's going to be a LOT of fun!

  39. The highlights for me was the beginning and end of the week. The beginning so i know who were in my classes the end for I wanted it to end. My biggest fear is that i don't know what will happen. I want the year to be over with so i don't have to do anything related to school.

  47. I think that the highlight of last week was that we could all meet our friends again and see who our teachers are and what they're like.
Last year, in 6th grade, we had only 2 teachers, so there was very minimal movement. This year, we have 4 teachers, so I think that is the biggest change for all of the kids who were in team 21 last year.

  50. I am looking forward to learning new things, too. I think seventh grade will be different than sixth grade because we will get more freedom, choices, and we will get a heavier work load. The event I am most looking forward to this year is Zoo Atlanta. I am excited because we get to ride on charter buses and I haven't been to Zoo Atlanta in a long time. I think I am going to have an awesome seventh grade year!!

  51. One of the highlights of this year is that I got classes with a lot of my friends this year, including one that i never got a class with. One of lowlights is that...lowlight is not a word... is that I had to organize my binders. Can believe it???? T_T. Another highlight is that I don't really forget my pencil anymore. On the outside I look very lonely and sad, but on the inside, I'm all happy rainbows. Got it? Anyways I'm looking forward to a fun year without refferals... not like I get any...anymore...

  52. I think the highlight of last week was that we could see our friends and hang out and talk about our summer and, to meet our teachers and new classmates. I think Team 21 is different this year because we only had two teachers instead of four so i think the different bells are hard to get used to too. I think my lowlight is our late lunch because i am so used to eating at 10:45 in the morning so that needs to get used to. But overall I am very excited about my teachers and this year ! ( ) ( )
