  5. Firstly, there are many factors of Chinese Poetry that are very intriguing. The writers of this genre of poetry always use very light and flowing language. The words blend together to create a gorgeous meldoy, that may not rhyme, but still is a great song. Also, there is an amazing use metaphors and similies to add a spice to the language.
Our favorite poems were Clearing Rain and Chinese New Year. These poems used all the factors we discussed and werfe very intelligent beautiful pieces.

My favorite poem was the Climbing You-Chou Terrace because it was vivid and I can really see it when i read it. Shelby learned that the guy who wrote the poem about drowning himself, he did it because he loved his country and he knew it was going down in flames.

  17. Chinese poetry is truly a work of art. From the few poems that I read yesterday, I can tell that it takes a genious to write all of the amazing poems that they come up with. Their were many famous poets that were in the Tang genration. Some include: Du Fu, Li Bai, and Qu Yuan. Almost all of their poems were full of lots of imagery. I just think that chinese poems are amazing.

  23. Chinese poetry was made many years before Confucius and was the first literature from China. Although it is confusing, it is relatable since most of the poems were about normal, everyday life. Our favorite poem was Taking Leave of a Friend because because it paints a picture with the emotions of bitter-sweetness of saying goodbye.
